We enroll children ages 15 months and older. We accept the YWCA Childcare Assistance Program. We do not accept DCFS childcare reimbursement.

Amanda brings over 15 years of early childhood education experience to Rockford Daycare & Academy, including years spent teaching in Rockford Public Schools District 205 classrooms at Dennis and Beyer Elementary Schools. That firsthand knowledge of what RPS 205 teachers expect on day one of kindergarten directly shapes our curriculum — our goal isn’t just to meet those benchmarks, but to send children in exceeding them. Her expertise in Special Education compliance ensures every child is supported.

What ages do you accept?
We enroll children from 15 months to 6 years old. We operate 12 months throughout the year, and drop-in care is available during spring break, winter break, and summer for families who need flexible coverage.
What are your operating hours?
We operate Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM CST. We are closed on weekends and major holidays. We do not provide transportation services.
Do you provide meals?
Yes! We serve delicious, unlimited meals provided by Delicious (choosedelicious.com). We accommodate most allergies and dietary restrictions.
Do you accept childcare financial assistance?
Yes! We accept the YWCA of Northwestern Illinois Childcare Assistance Program. Visit ywcanwil.org/childcare-home/child-care-assistance-program/ to learn more.
How secure is your facility?
Security is our top priority. We have outdoor fenced playgrounds monitored by security cameras, secure digital check-in/checkout through Brightwheel, and parent passcode systems to ensure only authorized individuals can access your child.
How does Brightwheel access work?
Once enrolled, parents receive secure login credentials for the Brightwheel app. You'll have access to real-time updates, photos, messaging with teachers, billing information, and digital check-in/checkout capabilities.
